Audax receives the commissioning protocol for the photovoltaic plant in Cañamares

Continuing its strategy of focusing on generation activity, the company will commission the Cañamares photovoltaic plant in Castilla-La Mancha after obtaining the commissioning certificate

Audax Renovables (ADX.MC), the energy group that integrates the generation and marketing of 100 t/y of renewable electricity and gas, has received the operating license from the Provincial Delegation for Sustainable Development of Guadalajara for the commissioning of its Cañamares photovoltaic plant in the town of Fontanar, in the province of Guadalajara (Castile-La Mancha), with a capacity of 5 MWp.

Due to the current conditions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Audax Group has experienced delays in some of its various processes. However, these delays have been resolved, meaning the aforementioned facility will soon be operational.

Furthermore, it should be noted that the Carolinas I and II photovoltaic plants, with a total capacity of 10 MWp, both located in the municipality of El Casar (Guadalajara, Castilla-La Mancha), are currently finalising the commissioning procedures and their commissioning will be announced shortly.

Both the Cañamares project and the Carolinas I and II photovoltaic plants will sell energy to their parent company, Audax Renovables, under a PPA agreement.

The aforementioned projects did not require external financing, but were financed through the green bonds issued by the Group at the end of the previous year.

In the coming weeks, the Group will continue to regularly inform the market about the progress of the projects in its portfolio in order to keep the market and its investors constantly updated.

These projects are part of the Audax Renovables Group's strategy to expand its portfolio of 100% renewable energy generation. Therefore, the group is focusing on concluding additional offtake agreements with the aim of supplying its customers with renewable energy generated in its own plants.
