Green energy
We are a renewable energy company, and we care about the environment and your future. We respect the environment and do our bit to preserve it.
This green energy, 100% of which is of renewable origin, is clean energy because it does not release greenhouse gases into our planet's atmosphere, thus allowing responsible consumption without harming the environment.
The renewable energy modality was born out of this awareness and need.
We offer green energy to all types of customers: private households, small and medium-sized businesses, and large corporations.
Green or renewable energy comes from inexhaustible natural sources such as sun, wind, biomass, geothermal and hydropower.

We care for the planet
We use renewable energy sources that do not pollute the air, water, or land. When we talk about green energy, we refer not only to the commercialization process, but also to the production process. We have five wind turbines in Spain that produce 100 t/y of green wind energy.

Your home or business 100 % green
Enjoy clean energy tailored to your needs, whether for your home, business, company, or public administration. We offer a variety of fixed or indexed tariffs, so you can always find the right one for you. Remember that all products with the Green Energy label contribute to protecting the environment in which we live.

The future of energy If
If you act ethically and with commitment in your daily life, why not do the same with your energy supply? Choose green, clean, efficient, sustainably generated energy that suits your needs. Let your energy be as committed as you or your company. Because the energy you consume says a lot about you.

Certification for renewable energies
The energy we supply is certified and proves that your home or business uses 100% green energy. Your bill will show that the energy you use is clean and renewable. It's important to note that after the first year, you can view your certification on the CNMC website.
At Audax Renewables, we supply all our customers with 100% renewable energy. Green energy generated from inexhaustible natural resources and producing no greenhouse gases or pollutant emissions.

Renewable energies in Spain
Renewable energies are the energy suppliers of the future because they are an inexhaustible source of resources.
They are currently one of the most important sources of electricity in our country. Did you know that last year, 33.7% of the energy consumed in Spain came from renewable sources?
Let's take a look at the most important sources of green energy: solar, wind, biomass, geothermal, and hydropower. Below, we'll examine each of them to show you their unique features and competitive advantages.
Wind energy

In 2017, wind energy generated 23,092 MW of accumulated power, making it the second-largest source of electricity generation in Spain. Spain ranks fifth worldwide in terms of production and installed wind power capacity, behind China, the United States, Germany, and India, which lead the list.
Today, more than 20,000 wind turbines are installed in Spain, distributed across 1,000 wind farms.
Audax Renovables, part of the Audax Group, owns four wind turbines in Spain, one in France, another in Poland and is currently involved in the construction of a wind turbine in Panama.
Solar energy
With up to 3,000 hours of full sunshine per year, Spain is one of the European countries with the most hours of sunshine per day. Despite these encouraging figures, there is still a long way to go, as the country still lags behind Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands in solar energy production.
Last year, 135 MW of photovoltaic capacity was installed in Spain, and the trend is rising. In addition, solar self-consumption systems are growing in sectors such as agriculture and the agri-food industry.
An important fact to highlight is that thanks to this production or solar power generation, the emission of 3,047 million tons of CO2 into the atmosphere was avoided.

hydropower

Hydropower harnesses the movement of water and converts it into electrical current. It is one of the most widely used natural resources, exploited in areas where the power of water plays a special role, either in fast-flowing rivers or in very rainy regions.
In Spain, we find communities such as Catalonia, Galicia and Castile and León, which have a larger network of installed capacity of this type of green energy.
They have an installed capacity of approximately 17,792 MW and, together with the aforementioned wind energy, are among the most productive energies.
Audax Group and the environment
The Audax Group is firmly committed to generating 100% of renewable electricity. Proof of this is that, in addition to owning our own wind and photovoltaic plants, we recently signed the world's largest power purchase agreement for energy generated with photovoltaic technology. This represents a historic milestone in the global energy market. In March 2018, the AUDAX energy group signed a PPA (Power Purchase Agreement) with COX ENERGY, marking a new milestone in the global renewable energy market and set to become the new benchmark in the European energy market. It is the largest agreement of its kind to date for the purchase of energy generated with solar photovoltaic technology. This important PPA covers a total installed capacity of 660 MW, enough to supply approximately 1,300 GWh of renewable or green energy per year, equivalent to the consumption of more than 390,000 households. This energy will come from the solar plants that COX ENERGY will develop together with an international strategic partner at various locations in Spain and Portugal. The contract stipulates that Cox Energy will supply the agreed electricity sales with an installed capacity of 495 MWp in Spain and a further 165 MWp in Portugal. The projects will begin construction later this year and gradually come online by 2020. The total investment value will exceed €400 million.
With this agreement, AUDAX consolidates its position as a renewable energy company committed to green and clean energy, demonstrating a clear commitment to its customers and the environment. The signed PPA is the first part of a strategic plan resulting from the alliance between AUDAX and COX ENERGY to develop photovoltaic power generation projects in all European countries where AUDAX is present (Portugal, Italy, France, Germany, Poland, and the Netherlands). The 660 MW of this solar PPA positions Spain and Portugal as the European countries with the highest volume of renewable energy sold through this type of contract.
In addition, Audax Renovables, together with local partners, has embarked on the Toabré wind farm project in Panama and begun construction on the first phase of the 66 MW of installed capacity. The project, located in the municipalities of Penonomé and Antón, will install 20 Vestas V117 turbines. Construction is expected to take a maximum of 22 months, including the construction of 66 MW, two substations, and a 27 km transmission line designed for future phases with an estimated production of 240 GWh/year.
We have consolidated our position as an energy company focused on renewable energy – a clear commitment to our customers and the environment.
We own seven wind turbines, generating energy from 100% renewable sources, and are present in Spain, Portugal, Italy, Germany, Poland, the Netherlands, France, and Hungary with a diversified and stable portfolio of more than 365,000 customers.
We are aware of climate change, its causes, and its consequences. For this reason, our mission is to supply our customers with 100% green and renewable energy, with the goal of achieving sustainable, clean, and responsible energy consumption. By consistently using energy ethically and conscientiously, we will undoubtedly make a significant contribution to environmental protection.
Remember that the energy you consume says a lot about you. Join a green and sustainable company! Do so with Audax's green tariffs.
