The reference market for calculating the indexed tariff is MIBGAS: an organized market where agents buy and sell natural gas at the wholesale level. MIBGAS' objectives include: increasing competitiveness within the sector; contributing to the harmonization and rationalization of the Iberian gas market; and promoting liquidity and transparency, with trading taking place under conditions of equality, transparency, and objectivity for all participating players.
